SHIFT What’s DRIVING your TRAINING…

Dr. Jonathan Page, Cognitive Neuroscientist presented his most recent research on how the brain learns.  Dr. Page discussed the need to change the manner in which training is presented to train the student’s brain learns and retains information and the ability to respond effectively, and successfully handle multiple tasks, while recognizing and correctly interpreting those tasks.  Dr. Page emphasized the following three aspects of training presentations…

1st: SHIFT HOW YOU UNDERSTAND TRAINING
– Your brain is your most important tool

2nd: SHIFT HOW YOU DESIGN TRAINING
– Work with the brain

3rd: SHIFT HOW YOU DELIVER TRAINING
– Stay basic, but broad

Dr. Jonathon Page was one of my favorite presenters at the 2014 conference in Ohio. I’m very sorry that I was unable to attend this year and hear the updated information from him myself. Perhaps a colleague wouldn’t mind sending me the presentation. Hint, hint, hint…

Have fun boys and keep up the good fight!
